The weigh-ins took place today at the UFC host hotel for UFC on ESPN 66, which is set to take place Saturday night at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
All fighters—except one—made weight. Georgian veteran Giga Chikadze missed the featherweight limit by one pound and will be fined 20 percent of his purse as a result.
A colossal welterweight matchup headlines the card, as Ian Machado Garry once again steps up at the eleventh hour to face rising contender Carlos Prates. Garry also accepted his last fight—against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310 in December—on short notice and has once again come through for the UFC matchmakers.
Light heavyweight veteran Anthony Smith makes his 59th and final appearance in the co-main event, taking on Chinese powerhouse Mingyang Zhang, who has notched an incredible 18 first-round finishes in his professional career.
The aforementioned Giga Chikadze is set to face David Onama, while Abus Magomedov and Michel Pereira will square off in an intriguing middleweight contest.
Also on the main card, Randy Brown takes on Nicolas Dalby, and Ikram Aliskerov faces André Muniz.
