Eden football stadium in Prague is set to host OKTAGON 72 this evening. Two title bouts sit atop a loaded card which promises to be another historic show for the promotion.
In the main event, Karlos Vémola (37-9) and Attila Végh (33-10-2) will finally have their ‘Judgement Day’ as they complete their light heavyweight trilogy, currently tied at 1-1, for the ‘Infinity belt’ which is a title to define a generation. Makhmud Muradov (28-8, 1NC) and Patrik Kincl (28-11, 1NC) put their six-year rivalry to bed in the co-headliner with the interim middleweight championship on the line.
The first ever two-weight king in OKTAGON MMA, Ivan Buchinger (44-10), throws down with knockout artist, Vladimír Lengál (8-4), at lightweight in a contest that is very unlikely to reach the final horn. In a fascinating welterweight matchup, the inaugural Tipsport Gamechanger winner, Bojan Veličković (25-12-2), welcomes former lightweight #1, Ronald Paradeiser (21-9), to his new division.
Elsewhere on the card, OKTAGON Challenge winner, Karol Ryšavý (14-8), wants to halt the momentum of rising prospect, Jakub Batfalský (7-1), in a featherweight contest and potential German superstar, Alina Dalaslan (1-0), takes the next steps in her professional career opposite Polish warrior, Róża Gumienna (5-4), at bantamweight.
