INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, will host the Professional Fighters League (PFL) this Friday night. The event features the semifinals of the men’s lightweight and bantamweight, as well as the women’s flyweight world tournaments.
Let’s take a look at the action lined up for PFL World Tournament 6:
Kevin Lee vs. Gadzhi Rabadanov (Lightweight Semifinal)
Former UFC interim title challenger Kevin Lee (20-8 MMA, 11-8 UFC) is set to make his PFL debut as he steps in to replace the injured Jay-Jay Wilson in the tournament's final four. “The Motown Phenom” will face 2024 PFL champion Gadzhi Rabadanov (25-4-2), who made a statement in the opening round by finishing UFC veteran Marc Diakiese in just 32 seconds.
Liz Carmouche vs. Elora Dana (Women’s Flyweight Semifinal)
Forty-one-year-old Liz Carmouche (23-8 MMA, 5-5 UFC) earned her tenth win in eleven fights since parting ways with the UFC in 2019 by dispatching Ilara Joanne in just 85 seconds to kick off her 2025 campaign. The former Bellator champion and two-time UFC title challenger now faces undefeated Brazilian prospect Elora Dana (8-0), who submitted Diana Avsaragova in her promotional debut to earn a spot in the semifinals.
Mansour Barnaoui vs. Archie Colgan (Lightweight Showcase Bout)
A marquee lightweight clash pits France’s Mansour Barnaoui (22-6) against undefeated Colorado native Archie Colgan (11-0). This central main card bout is surrounded by speculation: will the winner earn a title shot against Usman Nurmagomedov? The PFL has yet to clarify, with Ireland’s Paul Hughes also rumored to be in contention at 155 pounds.
Marcirley Alves vs. Jake Hadley (Bantamweight Semifinal)
São Paulo’s Marcirley Alves (13-4) narrowly defeated fellow Brazilian Leandro Higo in April to reach the semifinals, where he will face UFC veteran Jake Hadley (12-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC). “White Kong” opened his PFL career in style, scoring a rare Scottish Twister submission over Matheus Mattos.
Justin Wetzell vs. Mando Gutierrez (Bantamweight Semifinal)
It’s USA vs. Mexico in the second bantamweight semifinal. Justin Wetzell (11-2) looks to extend his winning streak to five as he faces Mando Gutierrez (11-3), who submitted Francesco Nuzzi to punch his ticket to the final four.
Brent Primus vs. Alfie Davis (Lightweight Semifinal)
Two Bellator veterans collide as last year’s runner-up Brent Primus (16-4) squares off against UK standout Alfie Davis (18-5-1). Primus submitted Vinicius Censi in the opening round, while Davis advanced with a spectacular spinning elbow knockout of Clay Collard.
Jena Bishop vs. Ekaterina Shakalova (Women’s Flyweight Semifinal)
The featured preliminary bout showcases two submission specialists with nine combined tapout wins. Jena Bishop (8-2) rebounded from a rough 2024 campaign by outpointing Kana Watanabe in the tournament’s opening round. She now meets Ukraine’s Ekaterina Shakalova (9-2), who choked out Juliana Velasquez to advance.
