The fighters set to compete on the main card at UFC on ESPN 70 officially hit the scales Friday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, with no surprises or issues across the board.

In the evening’s main event, heavyweight veteran Derrick Lewis is set to square off against undefeated newcomer Tallison Teixeira in a five-round clash. Both men made weight comfortably—Lewis came in at 261 pounds, while Teixeira was just behind him at 259. The fight marks a major opportunity for the Brazilian prospect to make a name for himself against the UFC’s all-time knockout leader.

The co-main event will feature a compelling welterweight matchup between seasoned striker Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and surging contender Gabriel Bonfim. Both fighters were on point, with Bonfim weighing in at the division limit of 171 pounds and Thompson coming in at 170.5.

Friday’s weigh-ins took place at the UFC’s official host hotel, with the nearby Bridgestone Arena set to host Saturday night’s card, airing live on ESPN and ESPN+.
