The PFL have announced the full fight card and running order for PFL Europe Nantes which is set to take place at The Zenith Nantes Métropole on Saturday, September 26.
Former Ares champion Abdoul Abdouragimov (19-1) is set to headline the event in the city he calls home as he takes on former UFC standout Kevin Jousset (10-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC). “Lazy King” is riding a nine-fight winning streak heading into this matchup and hasn’t fought since he outpointed Laureano Staropoli during the PFL’s last visit to France last December.
Another French star riding a nine-fight winning streak makes his promotional debut in the co-main event. Amin Ayoub (25-5) takes one a veteran of European MMA in Donovan Desmae (19-10) who has fought in organizations such as Cage Warriors, Brave CF and KSW across his storied career.
The event will also feature the semifinals of the PFL Europe tournament in both the bantamweight and lightweight divisions.
In the lightweight semifinals, UK standout Connor Hughes (11-2) will take on Gino van Steenis (6-1) – the brother of PFL middleweight champion Costello van Steenis – while Caludio Pacella (6-2) will face Aleksandr Chizov (11-3).
Dean Garnett (13-3-1) faces the unbeaten Jan Cirplowski (9-0) in the bantamweight semifinals, while Baris Adiguzel (8-1) will take on Gustavo Oliveira (11-2).
