Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) 217 took place at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota on Friday, headlined by Mitchell McKee vs. Pedro Nobre and Gable Steveson vs. Braden Peterson.

In the main event — which also earned “Fight of the Night” honors — McKee showcased his dominance. Nobre had flashes of success, but McKee took control and sealed the win with a barrage of right and left hooks, scoring a second-round knockout. The victory pushes McKee’s undefeated record to an impressive 10-0.

The co-main event was one of the most anticipated bouts in LFA history, as Olympic gold medalist Steveson made his professional MMA debut against heavyweight prospect Peterson. Representing his hometown of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Steveson wasted no time — overwhelming Peterson with heavy punches en route to a first-round TKO. The dominant performance was made even more memorable with former UFC champion Jon Jones in his corner. Steveson’s win earned him “Performance of the Night” honors alongside Christian Turner (guillotine choke) and Mackenzie Stiller (bulldog choke), while Peterson dropped to 1-1.
