Over three rounds, the two flyweights stood in the pocket trading 86 combined punches in the opening frame, faces turning the canvas the color of an abstract painting. Dana White is always the man with tough choices, and he had to pick who to give the contract to. Instead of picking sides, he signed off on the war itself. Split decisions rarely come with standing ovations, but this one did, because fights like these prove why women don’t just belong in the Octagon; they are starting to steal the damn show.
