The UFC handed out four performance bonuses in the wake of UFC Fight Night 260 at RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia on Saturday night, including one to the winner of the evening’s main event.
Let’s look at the four fighters who pocketed an extra $50,000 for their efforts at UFC Perth.
Brando Pericic
Australian heavyweight Brando Pericic (5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) marked his Octagon debut in style, picking up a 1st-round stoppage win over Elisha Ellison and grabbing a Performance of the Night bonus in the process.
Tom Nolan
Brisbane’s Tom Nolan (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) extended his winning streak inside the Octagon to four when he submitted Charlie Campbell in the opening round of their lightweight encounter. This was the second 1st-round stoppage win of Nolan’s UFC career, and his first Performance bonus.
Jimmy Crute
Australian light heavyweight Jimmy Crute (14-4-2 MMA, 6-4-2 UFC) secured one of the Performance of the Night bonuses after picking up his second submission win in a row in Saturday’s co-main event.
“The Brute” forced Ibo Aslan to tap by way of a rear-naked choke in the opening round.
Carlos Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) continued his impressive rise up the light heavyweight rankings as he knocked out former title challenger Dominick Reyes in the opening round in the main event.
The ninth consecutive win of Ulberg’s UFC career saw him collect his third Performance bonus and he will surely have his eyes firmly fixed on the 205-pound title fight between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 next Saturday.
