The UFC has officially revealed the lineup for UFC 323 on December 6, featuring two title fights and a stacked supporting card to close out the ESPN pay-per-view era.
Dvalishvili Chases UFC History in Main Event
Merab Dvalishvili will look to make history when he takes on Petr Yan in the main event of UFC 323.
Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) aims to become the first UFC champion to successfully defend his title four times in a single calendar year when he rematches Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC), UFC CEO Dana White announced Monday.
After dethroning Sean O’Malley at The Sphere in September 2024, “The Machine” has racked up wins over Umar Nurmagomedov, O’Malley (again), and Cory Sandhagen—his most recent victory coming just 10 days ago at UFC 320. Now, the relentless Georgian wrestler will run it back with Yan, whom he defeated by unanimous decision two and a half years ago.
"It’s gonna be a good fight," Dvalishvili said on The Ariel Helwani Show. "He’s a former champion. He has a lot of wins in the UFC. It’s gonna be a fun fight, and I’m taking quick turnaround. It’s good, I’m busy, and I’m willing to fight also in March. February will be in Australia, I don’t think they gonna give me this. In March would be realistically."
Pantoja Defends Flyweight Title Against Rising Star Joshua Van
In the co-main event, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his title against surging contender Joshua Van.
Pantoja (30-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) has been dominant since capturing the flyweight title in 2023, already defending it four times. Coming off back-to-back submission victories over Kai Asakura and Kai Kara-France, “The Cannibal” has looked near unstoppable during his reign.
Van (15-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) enters the title picture following an incredible war against Brandon Royval in June—a bout widely considered a Fight of the Year contender at UFC 317. If the 24-year-old is able to topple Pantoja, “The Fearless” would become the second-youngest UFC champion in history, behind Jon Jones.
Cejudo Looks to End Skid Against Rising Talent Talbott
Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo will return to action at UFC 323 as he attempts to snap the longest losing streak of his career.
Cejudo (16-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) has dropped three straight since coming out of retirement and now faces rising bantamweight contender Payton Talbott (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC). Talbott bounced back into the win column at UFC 317 with a decision victory over Felipe Lima and will look to make a statement against the Olympic gold medalist.
Blachowicz vs. Guskov Headlines Light Heavyweight Action
Uzbekistani knockout artist Bogdan Guskov continues his rise through the light heavyweight division as he faces former champion Jan Blachowicz.
Since losing his UFC debut to Volkan Oezdemir in 2023, Guskov (18-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has reeled off four straight stoppage victories, earning his shot at a top-ranked opponent. Blachowicz (29-11-1 MMA, 12-8-1 UFC), meanwhile, is searching for his first win since May 2022 and looking to reinsert himself into title contention.
