The UFC Apex in Las Vegas hosted an event for the second week running as UFC Vegas 11 delivered plenty of exciting finishes on Saturday night.
In the main event, Gabriel Bonfim continued his surge up the welterweight ladder, stopping veteran Randy Brown with a brutal knee in Round 2. After a measured first round, Bonfim found his opening early in the second, landing clean and closing the show at 1:40 to earn another highlight-reel finish.
The co-main event featured Joseph Morales making a statement at flyweight with a slick submission win over Matt Schnell. Morales pressed the action from the opening bell, snatched a guillotine choke midway through the first round, and forced the tap at 2:54 to notch his third consecutive victory.
In the featured fight, Uros Medic wasted no time dismantling seasoned striker Muslim Salikhov. Medic’s relentless pace and power proved too much, as he stormed forward with punches to score a TKO just 1:03 into Round 1.
