Legacy Fighting Alliance opened its 2026 campaign at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel with LFA 224, headlined by a heavyweight championship bout. Russia’s Arslan Bilalov entered the cage undefeated to face American contender Matt Adams for the vacant title, which became available following Denzel Freeman’s move to the UFC.
Bilalov took command early in the fight and secured a first-round submission, finishing Adams with a rear-naked choke late in the opening frame. The victory improved Bilalov’s record to 6–0 and crowned him the new LFA heavyweight champion.
In the co-main event, Josiah Harrell kept his perfect record intact, moving to 11–0 after Bekmyrza Dosmatov’s corner stopped the fight in the third round.
