Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) made its first return to Brazil in 2026 for LFA 225 on Friday night at Ginásio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia. The card was capped by an Interim Flyweight Championship main event between Marcos Degli and Luis Aguiar.
Although Aguiar failed to make weight at the official weigh-ins, the fight went ahead with only his opponent eligible to win the title. In the opening round, Degli landed a crushing liver shot that quickly ended the contest, forcing a stoppage at 1:35 of round one. With the victory, Degli improved his professional record to 14-3, while Aguiar fell to 9-2.
LFA now turns its attention back to the United States, returning to Clarksville, Tennessee on February 6 for LFA 226 at the F&M Bank Arena. The upcoming event will be headlined by undefeated LFA Middleweight Champion David Allakhverdiev (7-0) of Ukraine, who will put his title on the line against hard-hitting contender Joe “The Land Animal” Kropschot (7-3) in a main event matchup expected to deliver fireworks.
