The UFC awarded multiple performance bonuses following Saturday night’s event in Las Vegas, with the main event fighters leading the way.
After UFC 324 concluded at T-Mobile Arena, four competitors earned $100,000 bonuses in recognition of their standout performances. The promotion also issued two additional $25,000 bonuses to fighters who secured impressive finishes but did not receive one of the primary awards. A full breakdown of the bonus recipients is listed below.
Performance of the Night Bonus ($100k): Ty Miller
Ty Miller (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) made a statement in his UFC debut, helping usher in the promotion’s new era on Paramount+ with an emphatic performance. Miller rocked Adam Fugitt (10-6 MMA, 2-4 UFC) with a right hand late in the first round and pressed the action relentlessly, earning a stoppage with just one second remaining in the opening frame.
Performance of the Night Bonus ($100k): Josh Hokit
Josh Hokit (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) earned a first-round TKO win over Denzel Freeman (7-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a finish that raised questions about how much damage was actually inflicted before the stoppage. The controversy did not end there. In the aftermath, Hokit drew further attention for his post-fight remarks, which came across as unoriginal and poorly received.
Fight of the Night Bonus ($100k to each fighter): Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett
Justin Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and Paddy Pimblett (23-4 MMA, 7-1 UFC) delivered a grueling five-round battle in the main event, fighting at a relentless pace for 25 minutes to determine the interim lightweight champion. When it was over, Gaethje emerged with his second interim UFC title, setting up a future matchup with undisputed champion Ilia Topuria, who has been sidelined from competition while dealing with personal legal matters outside the cage.
The victory further cemented Gaethje’s reputation as one of the UFC’s most consistent action fighters. He now owns 15 post-fight bonuses in 15 UFC appearances and moved into a tie with Dustin Poirier and Edson Barboza for the most Fight of the Night awards in promotional history, with 10.
Stoppage Bonuses ($25k to each fighter)
Nikita Krylov and Waldo Cortes-Acosta each pocketed an extra $25,000 for their respective stoppages of Modestas Bukauskas and Derrick Lewis.
