LFA 230 Results

Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) returned to the State of Oklahoma for LFA 230 at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The event was headlined by a high-level Heavyweight showdown between rising prospect Nyle Bartling and dangerous contender Charlie Cleveland. In an LFA-first, the event was temporarily suspended due to a tornado warning in the area. After a two hour delay, the event was back on for the final two fights of the night.

The fights were worth the wait. Cleveland was dangerous from the beginning as he punished Bartling with a fury of punches that ended in a knockout in the first round. Cleveland took his record to 6-1. In the co-main event, David Wright returned to the LFA in convincing fashion with a submission win over John Moore. Just before the tornado warning, Jake Woodley had a unanimous decision win in front of his home crowd.
