Cage Warriors has officially announced a major featherweight title bout, as champion Nik Bagley is set to defend his belt against top contender Aiden Lee.

The fight will take place on the main card of CW London at Indigo at the O2 on June 27.

Bagley (8-1) returns for his first title defense since capturing the championship in the main event of CW 200 in Dublin, where he defeated hometown favorite Solomon Simon. The Ukrainian-born fighter, who trains out of London, delivered a dominant performance across five rounds, using his wrestling to control the former champion and secure the victory.

Lee (15-10), one of the division’s most active contenders, has been campaigning for a title shot after building a strong résumé that includes a win over DWCS veteran Damon Wilson. The English fighter is coming off a standout performance at CW 201 Unplugged, where he submitted Inglesson de Lara in the first round of their main event bout.

“It feels right to be fighting for the belt at this point,” Lee said. “I’ve paid my dues, and I believe that when I win this fight, it will prove I’m the best featherweight outside of the UFC. I made this title shot undeniable, and my next performance will make a UFC contract undeniable.”

For Bagley, the upcoming bout represents a different kind of moment—his first opportunity to defend the title in front of a home crowd.

“Winning the belt in Dublin against a hostile crowd was defining and unforgettable,” Bagley said. “But defending it in London will be a true homecoming. I plan to make a statement and deliver an explosive performance in front of my people.”
