Saturday’s UFC event in Western Australia dished up it’s fair share of memorable moments, with quite a few of the main card matchups helping to reshuffle the deck as far as the official UFC rankings are concerned.
Let’s see who made the biggest moves in the latest updated standings after UFC Fight Night 275.
Prates Joins the Title Discussion
After delivering the most impressive performance of his career to date in Saturday’s main event, Carlos Prates moves up three places no. 2 in the welterweight rankings, while the only man to defeat “The Nightmare” to date, Ian Machado Garry, is now the division’s no. 1-ranked contender.
After suffering his second defeat in a row to Prates at the RAC Arena, former champion Jack Della Maddalena drops three places to no. 4.
Salkilld Cracks the Top Fifteen
Australian fan favorite Quillan Salkilld picked up yet another first-round stoppage (his third in a row) and another performance bonus (also his third consecutive one) as he dispatched of Beneil Dariush on Saturday, and that win sees him enter the lightweight rankings at no. 12.
Dariush drops two spots to fourteenth after losing for the fourth time in his last five outings, while Manuel Torres departs the top fifteen.
“Astroboy” Back in the Top Ten
Former flyweight title challenger Steve Erceg picked up his second win in a row on Saturday’s main card, outpointing the veteran Tim Elliott over fifteen minutes. Erceg had gone on a three-fight skid after his loss to Alexandre Pantoja in 2024 but now looks to have corrected his course.
The win sees him move up two places and into tenth, while Elliott drops one place to no. 12.
“The Balkan Bear” Into the Rankings
With three stoppage wins now in his first three UFC appearances, Brando Pericic finds himself entering the heavyweight rankings at no. 15 after beating Shamil Gaziev on Saturday.
Gaziev departs the rankings along with UK favorite Mick Parkin, while Valter Walker returns at no. 13.
