OKTAGON 62 had a lot to live up to this past weekend in Frankfurt but as this promotion has become well known for, they put on a memorable show.

In the main event of this historic event, Christian Eckerlin was crowned the "King of Germany" following his dominant performance against Christian Jungwirth over five rounds.

Eckerlin significantly out-landed his opponent 184-83 and secured four takedowns to seal the victory and receive his crown.

In the co-main event, Kerim Engizek dethroned the longest reigning champion in the promotion when he beat Patrik Kincl for the middleweight title.

Despite what could have been a rally from the champion later on in the fight, Engizek was able to keep pace with Kincl to win four of the five rounds on two of the scorecards.

Four finishes rounded out the main card action at the Deutsche Bank Park with the pick of the bunch being the devastating knee landed by Max Coga in his stoppage of Antun Račić.

On the prelims, another title changed hands as Mallory Martin took the strawweight title off of Katharina Dalisda in enemy territory.

The American had lost to Dalisda two years ago but in pulling off the upset with a dominant display, earned herself the Tipsport performance of the night.

Magomed Machaev earned a hard fought decision win over James Hendin but the other real show stealer on the prelims came courtesy of Ireland's Will Fleury.

In what could be a number one contender's fight for the light heavyweight division, he needed just over 90 seconds to send Pavol Langer crashing to the canvas face first.

Fleury than called for the title fight with Karlos Vemola at OKTAGON 63 after the champion was left without an opponent for November 9 in Bratislava.
