The MMA leader returns to the world's most famous arena this Saturday night for UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden.

In the main event, the consensus greatest of all time makes his return from injury as Jon Jones puts his heavyweight title on the line for the first time.

In a match-up that was set to take place at UFC 295 last November, he will face the best heavyweight to ever step inside the Octagon in Stipe Miocic who aims to become the champion for a third time.

The co-main event sees two of the most exciting fighters on the roster run back an all-action lightweight title fight from 2021 as Charles Oliveira meets Michael Chandler for a second time.

They will compete over five rounds as Chandler makes his long awaited return to the Octagon in search of revenge over "Do Bronx" who stopped him in the second round three years ago.

Also on the main card, super prospect Bo Nickal looks to continue his rapid ascent up the middleweight ladder when he faces Scotland's submission specialist, Paul Craig.

Brazilian stand out Mauricio Ruffy will try to continue the momentum of the Fighting Nerds team out of Brazil when he faces James Llontop in the PPV opener with Viviane Araújo versus Karine Silva also earning a spot on the main card.

Two UFC staples feature on the prelims as Jim Miller returns against Damon Jackson and Chris Weidman looks to put his bad luck when fighting in New York behind him when he faces Eryk Anders.

The card is set to be opened by two fighters that will be very familiar to UK fight fans as Veronica Hardy kicks off proceedings in her bout with Eduarda Moura.

She will look to make it four in a row at flyweight since returning to the Octagon in March last year whilst in the following bout, Wales' Oban Elliott gets the chance to make yet another childhood dream come true when he walks out at MSG to face Bassil Hafez.

"The Welsh Gangster" has the chance to go 3-0 in the welterweight division this year following victories over Val Woodburn and Preston Parsons.
