The Rowdy Rides car dealership is officially open for business. In truth, it’s first sale is likely to be its only one, but it cashed in a cool $21,300 from an anonymous bidder on eBay.

The 2005 Honda Accord LX was the former chariot of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, but she’s obviously upgraded to a more pimped-up ride since becoming the female face of mixed martial arts. The old motor eventually made its way into the hands of ‘Rowdy’s sister Julia on her 16th birthday.

The bidding started at just $3,000, but the appeal of a whip formerly owned by a global superstar quickly drove the price up. It even came with an assortment of ‘goodies’ scattered around the interior, which included a Pokémon glued onto the stereo system, a book by ‘Judo’ Gene LeBell, at least four hats, a single boot, a high heel, a flip flop and a black belt.

Rousey told TMZ Sports: “The Fonda will always have a special place in my heart. I love it very much and hope that the next owner will be someone who will love and respect it. And not some crazy super fan who jerks off to it every day.”

Doritos takes a bite out of UFC 188

Doritos’ limited-edition UFC 188 bags proved to be a huge hit in Mexico ahead of the Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum fight in June. It’s not surprising really, seeing as the snacks firm also offered tortilla chip-loving fight fans the chance to go backstage during the event.

To be in with a chance of winning one of 12 hot tickets to go behind the scenes of the event in Mexico City, the country’s MMA fans were urged to grab a bag and tweet a photo of themselves including Doritos’ Mexican twitter handle to be chosen at random.

Bizarrely enough, even Werdum posted on Instagram with a couple of the bags, despite facing Cain for the heavyweight belt on the night. Perhaps he new champ didn’t quite understand the rules.

Kimbo's slice of porno action

Before his return to action with Bellator, Kimbo Slice revealed he’d made a living by working for the company that first pushed him into the limelight, Reality Kings.

It had been five years since the last time he stepped into the cage, and two-and-a-half since his final pro boxing fight, so with a family to support, the former street-fighting star made a living by coordinating security for the adult-film production company. Slice has a longtime connection with the organization, since its former owner ‘Icy’ Mike Imber became his manager when he first started fighting professionally.

The 41-year-old once worked as a security guard on porn sets, but his latest role was more of an office job. “I’m not hands on,” Slice told MMA Junkie. “When they need security at certain spots, I’ll have guys go to certain locations to make sure everything runs smooth. I do a lot of networking as well.”
