Q. Name the leading five must-haves in your ice-box.
A. “Well, there’s ice in there (laughs), ice cream and some Apple strudel, but other than that I don’t really eat frozen food all that much.”
Q. What do you gorge on?
A. “When I do gorge, I gorge on chocolate. I do love chocolate.”
Q. What do you cheat with?
A. “I have really good will power when it comes to cutting weight, so I don’t really cheat that much. But maybe a few pieces of dark chocolate with almond butter would be my cheat food.”
Q. Do you keep anything other than frozen peas in your freezer?
A. “No, nothing other than frozen peas. Gotta keep that swelling down (laughs)!”
Q. What is your favorite bottled sauce?
A. “My favorite sauce is definitely Nando’s hot sauce.”
Q. What dessert do you enjoy?
A. “Cheesecake is number one, but I do love brownies with ice cream too. Those would be my two favorite desserts.”
Q. What is your own signature dish?
A. “Chicken, rice and peas is my thing. I’m a master at it.”
Q. What is your favorite meal during fight camp?
A. “The one thing I seem to eat more than any other during camp is sweet potato, omelet and avocado.”
Q. What meal do you eat after the weigh-in?
A. “Chicken pasta or chicken and rice. I try to eat it as soon as I possible can after stepping off the scales.”
Q. What food do you look forward to most after a fight?
A. “Junk food – doesn’t everybody say that? I always make sure I have cheesecake in my hotel fridge.”

A. “Caribbean food. Super tasty and full of flavor.”

“Chicken, sweet potato mash and rice; steak and rocket pizza; shrimp, ribs and chicken wings.”
