Things we hear, things we see, things we know.
Junie moves in with Shawn Tompkins
The most badly-behaved resident in the history of The Ultimate Fighter, Junie Browning claims to have reformed his ways and has reportedly dedicated himself to his training. The naughty blond-haired scamp (who entertained viewers with his drunken rampages, foul language, and non-stop violent displays toward his housemates) is working with striking supreme Shawn Tompkins, one of the head trainers at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. Tompkins has taken Junie under his wing, even moving him into his house so that he can keep a closer eye on him. From what we saw of Junie’s last fight, we’re willing to believe this could be the best thing that ever happened to him. Good luck Junie!
The Natural hits Hollywood
Take Forest Whitaker, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Sylvester Stallone, and Randy Couture, and what do you have? No, it’s not the latest cast of Celebrity Big Brother. This is the rumoured cast for Sylvester Stallone’s latest flick, ‘The Expendables’. Apparently, Randy will play one of a group of mercenaries who infiltrate a South American country to overthrow its dictator and free the population. Hmm.
Two can play at that game
Dana White likes to call Fedor’s management team (comprised of Vadim Finkelstein and co) “crazy Russians”. The ‘crazy Russians’ responded with a series of viral YouTube videos that hit back at the most influential man in MMA. But let’s be honest, will he even care? We doubt it very much.
Everybody loves Gina
We’ll admit, it’s kind of hard not to find Gina Carano attractive. The smile that has warmed the hearts of a thousand fighters gets us every time, as well as her other natural (or not) ‘charms’. TUF 8 contestant Tom Lawlor went one further and appeared in a video on The MMA Show’s YouTube channel. The Florida fighter smooched and hugged a copy of our magazine to proclaim his love for Gina.
