Dear Fighters Only,

I was on my way back home (to Finland) to do some training for a week and I accidentally met members of your staff at the Stansted airport. It was nice to meet couple of the people who are responsible for the magazine that sets an example for all the others, with it's articles, reviews and of course with the training zone.

I've been reading the magazine since the start and it just keeps getting better and better. In fact it's so good I have to send it to my friends in Finland every month! Will the magazine be soon delivered worldwide, or will you have an online version of the magazine coming up now that the internet rules the information highway? I will be leaving the country in few months and I don't want to miss an issue.

Keep up the good work!

Antti, your support is much appreciated! We only hope your friends in Finland enjoy the magazine as much as you do. To answer your question our online version of the magazine is now up and running – go to our website for more details.

What sort of idiots is this mag aimed at when you glamorise use of drugs, i.e. Marijuana in martial arts. It only serves to enhance the public opinion of MMA as a bunch of meatheads beating each other up. Now they're admitting to being dope-smoking meatheads. Serve 'em right. Let the rest of us in traditional martial arts carry the torch for health and fitness. You guys shoot yourselves up with steroids, dope and God knows what and we'll see who lives longest. It's not always better to burn out than to fade away.

Dave Davies, via email.

Thanks for the letter Dave. First off, in no way do we at Fighters Only promote or glamorise the use of steroids, performance enhancing or illegal drugs. The article you refer to, Marijuana in MMA, in one of a series of no holds barred features that take a look at the issues affecting the sport today. Drugs in MMA is a reality albeit a very small one. There are fighters who smoke and take drugs, but we’d be failing in our jobs as journalists if we glossed over potentially damaging subjects such as this. We offer balanced articles that tell both sides of the story – we prefer to let readers form their own opinions, just as you have.

Hi FO,

Your magazine is without a doubt the best MMA magazine out. After reading your issue about ultimate collections, I wanted to share with you mine. Unlike the other people in your issue I am only 17 and could not afford to spend loads of money on merchandise. I have been into MMA now for about a year and have collected a wide range of merchandise. I started of only watching UFC but I have now started watching Pride DVD's, K-1 and Cage Rage, thanks to reading your magazine. My merchandise ranges from magazines, books, DVD's, t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, necklaces, gloves, autographs from Dana White and Michael Bisping and much more. The pic that I have sent you is only a fraction of the merchandise that I have got. I love MMA, I have been to watch UFC 80 in Newcastle, which was amazing, and have got tickets for UFC 85,which I cant wait for (because Chuck Liddell is my favourite fighter). I hope to increase on my collection at UFC 85 with some more autographs and event programmes and I have also ordered a shipload of Pride DVD's (because I have just been paid). Keep up the great work.
