This is a very simple way to have a dessert or an even better breakfast (and to look after that sweet tooth). Sugar free yoghurt can be boring, so I always use orange or lime zest to make it more enjoyable. The zest gives a massive spray of flavour across the bowl and is naturally sweet, so there is no need to use any extra sugar. Important - you must zest the fruit over the bowl so you don’t lose the spray which comes off the grater.

Ingredients

100gm any fresh fruit chopped up, such as apple, pear, banana, berries, passion fruit seeds, grapefruit segments, pineapple etc.

50gm fat-free natural yoghurt

15gm granola / Muesli / Porridge oats

15gm various nuts

1 or 2 citrus fruit to zest

Method

Cut up a selection of fresh fruit (use whatever fruit you like, berries are a particularly good choice). Pour the yoghurt on top and cover with the granola or muesli and nuts. Take a grater and spread the zest over the bowl.
