Brave CF 55 takes place on November 6, with a fight for the right to compete in the promotion’s flyweight title tournament up for grabs in the night’s main event as the Bahrain-based promotion returns to Russia with a local hero looking to produce the goods on home soil.

Ali Bagautinov is all set for action in the semi-final main event as he takes on American contender Jose Torres in a bout that looks set to deliver fireworks aplenty as they do battle to face Velimurad Alkhasov in the tournament final.

But before the fans settle in for the featured bout of the night, the fight card has a handful of matchups that look set to entertain the crowd in Rostov-On-Don.

Mochamed Machaev vs. Kasum Kasumov

Austria’s Mochamed Machaev will be looking to earn a second shot at bantamweight championship gold when he faces Russia’s Kasum Kasumov.

Machaev fell short in his bantamweight debut at Brave CF 52: Bad Blood in August when he suffered a 54-second knockout at the hands of Gamzat Magomedov.

That defeat snapped Machaev’s 10-fight winning streak and slowed “The Beast’s” momentum. Now he’s looking to bounce back with victory over Kasumov, who heads into the bout with an impressive 13-1 record that includes seven submission finishes.

Kasumov finished Rany Saadeh via Von Flue choke on his Brave CF debut back in November 2019, then followed up with an arm-triangle victory over Dimitar Kostov the following October.

An impressive win for either man could see the victor handed a shot at the Brave CF bantamweight title, which currently sits vacant.

Rustam Chsiev vs. Daniel Pereira

Two middleweight contenders will collide as former champion Daniel Pereira takes on Russia’s own Rustam Chsiev in a bout that could determine the next challenger for reigning champion Mohammad Fakhreddine.

Chsiev’s dominant wrestling game has seen him emerge as a force in Brave’s middleweight division, with victories over Tarek Suleiman, Brendan Lesar and Enrico Cortese.

He’ll be looking to add a former champion’s name to his resume when he faces Brazil’s Pereira, who is looking to blast his way into a rematch with Fakhreddine, who knocked him out in the fourth round in September 2020 to dethrone “Gaucho” and relieve him of the middleweight title.

Kamal Magomedov vs. Luis Felipe Dias

Debutants will look to make a big first impression when unbeaten Kamal Magomedov takes on Luis Felipe Dias in a super welterweight matchup.

Magomedov is undefeated in eight professional fights, with all of his victories coming inside the distance, while Dias arrives in Brave CF with a 14-3 record, riding a seven-fight winning streak.

Both men have their sights set on the vacant Brave CF super welterweight title, with one man set to move one step closer to that goal with victory in Rostov-On-Don.

Gadzhimusa Gaziev vs. Issa Isakov

On a night that is set to feature a plethora of Russian fighting talent, promotional veteran Gadzhimusa “Deadshot” Gadzhiev is set for his latest appearance as he takes on Belgian ace Issa Isakov.

Gadzhiev has been a mainstay on the Brave CF roster since the promotion’s inception in 2016, and has won four of his last eight appearances, with his last outing serving up a third-round knockout of Geraldo Neto at Brave CF 49: Super Fights.

Victory over the talented Isakov, who possesses an 88% finishing rate, could put Gadzhiev in line for a super lightweight title shot, while a win for Isakov would establish him as a legitimate threat to the division’s best.

Kamil Magomedov vs. Sam Patterson

England’s Sam “The Future” Patterson will look to keep his winning form rolling when he returns to action against Kamil Magomedov.

Patterson has won his last six bouts, with three of those wins coming under the Brave CF banner, and is targeting a rematch with reigning Brave CF lightweight champion Ahmed Amir after their first bout ended in a draw back in April 2019.

Patterson defeated Ylies Djiroun at Brave CF 51 in June, and knows that victory against 14-1 Magomedov – who hasn’t lost since 2017 – could put him right in line for a rematch with Amir.
