On the eve of UFC 290 as part of UFC International Fight Week, two of Brazil’s top strawweight prospects squared off for the LFA interim women’s strawweight title in the main event of LFA 162.
Rose Conceicao defeated Elaine Lopes via unanimous decision (48-47, 49-46, 48-47) to remain undefeated and become the promotion’s sixth 115-pound champion.
In the co-main event, Marcio Barbosa knocked out Wellington Prado in a battle of top featherweight prospects. The highlight reel knockout came at 2:40 of the opening round.
