This weekend, the world will celebrate International Women’s Day, and ONE Championship is marking the occasion by showcasing a card full of its fiercest female fighters at ONE Fight Night 20: Todd vs. Phetjeeja on Saturday, 9th March.
A total of 11 bouts will be featured, with a couple of battles for ONE gold topping the bill.
Women’s atomweight kickboxing queen Janet Todd is set to meet interim titleholder Phetjeeja in a World Title unification bout in the main event, and ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defends her throne against Spanish star Cristina Morales in the co-main.

A legend of combat sports, Todd has held the kickboxing crown since defeating Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex at ONE: KING OF THE JUNGLE in February 2020.
She remains unbeaten in the sport in ONE and has also enjoyed success in the Muay Thai realm. The American star dispatched Alma Juniku, Anne Line Hogstad, and Lara Fernandez before she unsuccessfully challenged Rodrigues’ reign at ONE on Prime Video 8 in March 2023.
Now, Todd returns to kickboxing to face a young phenom on the brink of superstardom.
Phetjeeja has cruised through all five combatants so far in her promotional tenure, lighting up the ONE Friday Fight series along the way, and she gained the interim World Title by besting striking icon Anissa Meksen at ONE Friday Fights 46 last December.
Rumors are swirling that this might be “JT’s” last outing of her career, and if they prove true, Phetjeeja will have the perfect chance to take the torch and the unified strap with another win on Saturday.
Right before that thrilling showdown goes down, Rodrigues returns to put a stamp on the women’s atomweight Muay Thai division.
After successfully defending her World Title against Todd in March 2023, the Brazilian star went for two-weight glory last September at ONE Fight Night 14 when she challenged ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Smilla Sundell. She suffered a third-round defeat that evening, so she’ll be looking to reassert her authority against Morales.
But if there was ever to be an underdog who can claw their way to the top, it’s the Spanish striker. After a rocky start to life in ONE Championship, Morales pulled out a stunning first-round knockout win against Supergirl Jaroonsak last November at ONE Fight Night 16.
Now, she'll look to capitalise on that momentum and snatch Rodrigues’ gold with another convincing victory.
Also slated for action at ONE Fight Night 20 is American-Filipina standout Jackie Buntan, who makes her return to action against Italy’s Martine Michieletto in 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai action.
Buntan was last seen in ONE at the promotion’s debut event on U.S. shores, ONE Fight Night 10, last May. She kicked off the historic card by knocking out Diandra Martin inside the first round to score her second win on the trot.
But Michieletto also finds herself in good form, having bossed Amber Kitchen in her promotional debut in June 2023 at ONE Fight Night 11. The Italian controlled "AK 47" over three rounds to pick up the unanimous decision.
Should she do the same to a former World Title challenger in Buntan, she could put herself into the World Title conversation.
