The draw has been made for the Cage Warriors PrizeFighter Welterweight tournament, with a former Welterweight title challenger in the first semi-final, and the hometown man serving in the reserve bout.

The tournament will take place at Cage Warriors 176, as the promotion head back to Glasgow for the second time this calendar year.

Omiel Brown, Bourama Camara, Sean Clancy Jr., Marko Kisic, Henri Lintula and Jakob Scheffel were all assigned numbered balls and entered into the draw, which was streamed live on the Cage Warriors YouTube Channel.

Former Cage Warriors Welterweight title challenger Omiel Brown was first out of the hat. He will face promotional debutant, Henri Lintula in the first semi-final of the night. Fans could be in for a grapple heavy affair when the two meet on September 7th, with 10 of their 17 collective wins coming by way of submission.

Bourama Camara was the second name to be drawn, which meant he was the first name confirmed for the second semi-final. The Frenchman enters the tournament on the back of 2 unanimous decisions. Standing opposite him inside the cage at the Braehead Arena will be Marko Kisič. As 4-1 in his last 5, the Austrian will be hoping to take home the $50,000 in his first time pulling on the yellow gloves.

The draw was less than ideal for Higher Level's Sean Clancy Jr. The Glasgow based Welterweight was pulled fifth in the draw, meaning he will compete in the reserve bout. This means he would only get the chance to compete in the main section of the tournament if any of the four athletes drawn before him pick up an injury before fight night, miss weight, or sustain an injury in their semi-final bout which would lead to them not being able to compete in the final. The latter of the options of course can only happen if Clancy Jr. can make it past Jakob Scheffel in the reserve bout.

Although Clancy Jr admitted he was slightly disappointed with the fact he is competing in the reserve bout, the Scottish prospect is excited to get to compete against Scheffel.

Scheffel will make the trip across from the states looking to cause a huge upset in front of Clancy's home crowd. The unbeaten American is Clancy Jr.'s toughest test to date and will offer problems the Scotsman has not seen before.
