Teenage star Adrian Lee got his ONE Championship tenure off to a great start this past June, and he promises more highlights are on the menu when he features at the promotion’s most historic event next week.

“The Phenom” is set to meet ONE debutant Nico Cornejo in lightweight MMA action at ONE 168: Denver inside Denver, Colorado’s Ball Arena on Saturday, 7th September, in what will be his second outing in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

Lee’s debut saw him submit Antonio Mammarella in the second frame of their tie at ONE 167. With the win, he delivered on the hype his famous last name had brought about.

Now, the younger brother of ONE superstars Angela and Christian Lee plans to give his American compatriots a taste of his true potential.

“It means a lot to me. I’m extremely excited to have my second fight on U.S. soil because me and my family, we’ve never competed on this level stage in the U.S.

before. I’m excited to show the American fans what ONE fighters can do,” Lee said.

“I plan to bring into this fight how well-rounded I really am. I plan to show more of my striking, more of my grappling, and more of my wrestling in this fight compared to my last.”

ONE Championship put on its first event on U.S. soil in May 2023. ONE Fight Night 10 was so successful, that the promotion plans on making at least two trips to the North American country this year.

Lee may be new to the scene, but he wants to play a key role in showcasing just how good ONE can be to American crowds.

So when he sets foot under the lights on 7th September, the 18-year-old sensation will be looking to end proceedings as spectacularly as possible.

“I plan on finishing it in the first round, either by TKO, KO, or submission, whatever comes first,” Lee vowed.

“The biggest thing I want out of this fight is just to get in there and really make a statement and to show, especially the American fans, how exciting ONE Championship really is.”
