Cage Warriors 176 has been hit with a last minute change to the card in one of their feature bouts as Artūrs Leisāns is out of his Lightweight contest against Chris Bungard.

The pair were meant to meet this Saturday but it was announced today by the promotion that the Latvian is out of the bout. Luckily for ‘The Bad Guy’, Cage Warriors have found a replacement and the Scotsman will now face Andrey Augusto.

The extremely experienced Brazilian will enter enemy territory in his 24th professional contest having been extremely active as of late, with the Bungard bout being his 6th in the space of 19 months. Although struggling for form in his last 5 five contests, amassing a 3-2 record, Mineiro has faced some tough opposition.

Bungard will be extremely thankful that Cage Warriors have managed to find a new opponent as he will look to exercise the demons of his last outing at the Braehead Arena, when he dropped a second round submission loss to Dumitru Girlean at Cage Warriors 171. The bout will now take place at a 163lbs catchweight.

Bungard took to Instagram with a short but direct message. He said: “My opponent sh*t his knickers on fight week. New opponent and another tough one."

The bout will still remain on the evening's main portion of the card, as Cage Warriors confirmed the final card for Saturday, earlier this evening.

The PrizeFighter Welterweight final will serve as the main event. George Hardwick will his Lightweight title on the line in a bout against Cristian Iorga. Former Bantamweight title challenger Reece McEwan is also back in action and looking to get back to winning ways, in a Bantamweight bout against Miguel Haro. Rounding out the main card will be Michael Blair vs Kye Stevens and a Bantamweight war between Keir Harvie and Rory Evans.
