Bantamweight contender Shirzad Qadrian has signed a new mulit-fight deal with European promotion Cage Warriors.
The news comes shortly before he challenges Liam Gittins for the 135-pound title at Cage Warriors 180 on November 15.
Qadrian debuted in the iconic yellow gloves back in July of last year where he suffered his one and only pro loss to Wes Maia at CW 157.
He then rebounded with back-to-back wins and finishes over Rory Evans and Emanuele Zaccaria before heading into the Prizefighter tournament.
At CW 174 in July, six of the promotion's best bantamweights met in a one-night tournament which Qadrian went on to win.
All of the tournament bouts were set to be two-rounds with an added third decider round if the bout was a draw at the end of the originally scheduled duration with the final being a three-round contest.
Qadrian ended up going all six rounds to get revenge over Maia and defeat Alexander Loof to win the prize money and a shot at the bantamweight title.
His wrestling was the key to his success as he successfully took down and dominated his opponents with relentless cardio.
Having spent some time training with the likes of Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov in the past, this approach didn't leave too many surprised spectators.
Now he will look to bring the bantamweight gold back to Diesel Gym London when going up against Next Generation MMA's Liam Gittins at the O2 Indigo in London.
Gittins has already defended the title since winning it in November last year.
Andy Clamp vs James Webb for the light heavyweight title is also set for the card with several other marquee match-ups already announced, including a bout between Qadrian's two most recent opponents, Alexander Loof and Wes Maia.
