ONE Championship returned to Lumpinee Stadium for ONE Fight Night 25 on October 4.

In the main event, Regian Eersel reclaimed the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship by defeating Alexis Nicolas.

Nicolas was able to pull off the upset the first time around at ONE Fight Night 21 but was convincingly beaten by the better man on the night in the rematch.

In the night's MMA contests, Mansur Malachiev proved himself to be a serious contender in the strawweight division.

He earned his biggest win to date over Bokang Masunyane by landing the more damaging strikes on the feet.

Both men are known for their wresting backgrounds but after they cancelled each other out, it was Malachiev that was able to make the best use of his overall game.

In the opening bout of the night, Danial Williams returned to the win column when he defeated Banma Duoji in a close contest.

His experience competing in both kickboxing and Muay Thai was key to getting the victory over a game opponent that was happy to stand and strike with him.

Former ONE bantamweight world champion and UFC veteran John Lineker was able to make it two-for-two in his recent foray into Muay Thai.

After stopping Asa Ten Pow last time out, he made the quick turnaround to face Russia's Alexey Balyko.

Lineker's signature 'Hands of Stone' were on full display once again as he dropped his opponent three times in the opening round to end the fight in devastating style.

He earned a performance bonus for his highlight reel knockout, as did Johan Estupinan earlier on in the night.
