OKTAGON 62 isn't just one of the biggest events in the history of the promotion, it's set to be one of the biggest nights in the history of the sport.

On October 12, the promotion will host 60,000 fans inside Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.

The ticket sales alone make this one of the five biggest events in the history of mixed martial arts with the only ones above it being held in Japan by either PRIDE, K-1, or a combination of the two when they were at the height of their popularity in the early 2000s.

OKTAGON 62 will also beat the UFC's attendance record which was set by UFC 243 at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

As you'd expect from a historic MMA event that is being held in the home of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, there is talent that represents Germany all across this card.

At the top of the bill, only one man can be crowned as "The King of Germany" when Christian Eckerlin and Christian Jungwirth collide in a massive moment for MMA in their home country.

The co-main event sees one of the biggest names in the promotion, middleweight champion Patrik Kincl, put his belt on the line against Kerim Engizek.

Below that is another fight that can't be overlooked as lightweights Max Coga and Antun Racic square off.

A couple of more recent additions to the OKTAGON roster are also in action earlier on in the night where the prelims are headlined by Katharina Dalisda's latest strawweight title defence.

James Hendin looks to earn his biggest win to date when he faces Mochamed Machaev who recently competed in the Tipsport Gamechanger tournament that is set to wrap up later this year.

Ireland's Will Fleury looks to cement his status as the next in line for a shot at the light heavyweight title when he comes up against Pavol Langer.
