Multi-discipline star Danial Williams finally returned to the winner's column this past weekend at ONE Fight Night 25 after a difficult two years in ONE Championship.

"Mini T" outwitted Chinese phenom Banma Duoji across three rounds of catchweight MMA this past Saturday, 5th October, to secure a unanimous decision victory inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Success has been hard to find for Williams lately. After amassing a three-fight win streak in the first half of 2022, the Thai-Aussie scrapper went on a skid across MMA and kickboxing, losing to the likes of Jeremy Miado, Lito Adiwang, flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9, and former strawweight kickboxing titleholder Jonathan Di Bella.

With such a string of bad results, Williams was unsurprisingly over the moon to get back to winning ways last Saturday.

"I just want to say thank you so much for the support," he said on Instagram.

"Finally got the win; it's been a long time coming. I knew I just had to really change my style. I just wanted to go in there in MMA, but I really had to be patient. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here."

With his latest victory coming in mixed martial arts, it wouldn't be surprising if Williams decided to stay fighting in the all-encompassing sport.

However, with such an array of skills in his arsenal, "Mini T" is keen to go hunting for some momentum in another one of ONE Championship's disciplines next.

"It's a different style, but I really want a Muay Thai fight next. I haven't had one in a while, I want to stand and trade with someone, probably get uglier than this," Williams said via Instagram.

"But, you know, I'm always going to put on a show, and I just want to put on that excitement."
