Top 10 welterweights are set to headline the UFC's upcoming trip to Tampa at the Amalie Arena.
The undefeated Ian Machado Garry will put his #7 ranking up against Joaquin Buckley in the #9 spot.
Garry has won eight in a row inside the Octagon including recent victories over Michael "Venom" Page, Geoff Neal and Neil Magny.
The divisive star has been calling for a top welterweight match-up for some time but after being unable to secure a fight against someone ranked higher than him, the former Cage Warriors champion will now look to halt the momentum of "New Mansa".
Buckley has won five in a row since returning to welterweight where he has really started to put it together.
In his last outing, he secured his biggest win to date by stopping Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson in the third round at UFC 307, making this a relatively quick turnaround for him.
December 14 could see either man inch closer to the top five, ending the year as one of the frontrunners at 170-pounds.
The card is also set to feature an important match-up in the strawweight division as Mackenzie Dern faces Amanda Ribas.
Other notable names that are set to be in action include Cub Swanson, Tracy Cortez, Vitor Petrino and Manel Kape.
