A third world championship bout is confirmed for ONE 170 that is set to kick off 2025 with a bang.
At the Impact Arena in Bangkok, bantamweight champion Fabricio Andrade makes his return to defend his throne for the first time.
"Wonder Boy" is unbeaten when competing in MMA under the ONE Championship banner with his only blemishes being a no contest against John Lineker and a kickboxing loss to Jonathan Haggerty.
He's proven himself to be one of the most dangerous strikers in the promotion with a run of highlight reel finishes and performances since he arrived in ONE.
After he stopped Lineker in their rematch to become the champion, Andrade has been inactive for over a year following his loss to Haggerty but after time to recover, he's ready to remind everyone what he's capable of.
On his return, he faces a familiar foe in South Korea's Kwon Won Il.
The two men first met back in June of 2022 at ONE 158 where Andrade continued his rise up the bantamweight rankings by stopping "Pretty Boy" in the first round.
His challenger has since rebounded with three consecutive wins and finishes over Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg, Artem Belakh and Mark Abelardo to mark himself out as a worthy challenger.
They join the card alongside two of the biggest and best striking matches of the year as Tawanchai and Superlek defend their Muay Thai belts against Superbon and Nico Carrillo.
