OKTAGON is set to arrive at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany on March 8 with the card already starting to take shape.

A new fight announcement sees a familiar face return to the promotion as Denis Frimpong steps back inside the cage at OKTAGON 68.

"The Menace" previously competed on the promotion's OKTAGON Challenge Series where he made it to the finals that took place in November of 2023.

He was beaten by George Stains on that night but the Ghanaian Irishman was able to bounce back with consecutive wins in the promotion over Jan Široký and Callum Mullen.

Frimpong's record has never been a true reflection of his skill level with him having a pro record of 4-2, though Tapology doesn't acknowledge two of those victories.

The 30-year old posted the following message on social media before the news was made official after making headlines for his gym fight with the UFC's Paddy Pimblett:

"Alhamdullilah for everything! New multi fight deal, signed and sealed, soon to be delivered. Guess the scene felt too empty without me. Fight news coming soon! Don’t worry ???? (I asked for Bobby Green but they said he’s out injured at the moment)"

In his return to the promotion, Frimpong will be taking on an undefeated German in the 5-0 Robin Frank.

The 26-year old will be making his debut in the promotion having started his career in the National Fighting Championship promotion in Germany.

Four of his wins have come by way of finish with his latest outing in November of last year being capped off with a head kick that saw him end the fight in just 15 seconds.

OKTAGON 68 already has several big fights announced for the card with the promotion crowning a new heavyweight champion on March 8 when former title challenger Lazar Todev looks to stop light heavyweight titleholder Will Fleury from becoming a two-weight champ.

The card also features the likes of German fan favourite Christian Jungwirth and a great clash between Makhmud Muradov and Joilton Lutterbach.
