Fresh from recent trips to both Saudi Arabia and Sydney, Australia, the UFC roadshow makes a pit stop in it's home city of Las Vegas this Saturday night.
With our main card preview for UFC Vegas 102 already in the books, let's turn our attention to the fights making up the preliminary card at the Apex this weekend.
Angela Hill vs. Ketlen Souza (115 lbs)
Angela Hill (17-14 MMA, 12-14 UFC) makes her 26th walk to the Octagon in the feature bout on Saturday's prelims, and the 40-year-old will be looking to add to her record 11 victories in the UFC strawweight division.
Brazil's Ketlen Souza (15-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was submitted in her UFC debut by Karine Silva back in 2023, but went 2-0 last year as she picked up wins over Marnic Mann and Yazmin Jauregui.
Jared Gordon vs. Mashrabjon Ruziboev (155 lbs)
36-year-old Jared Gordon (20-7 MMA, 8-6 UFC) only competed once in 2024, losing a split decision at the hand sof Nasrat Haqparast in June.
He faces a UFC debutant in Uzbekistan's Mashrabjon Ruziboev (20-4-1) who is riding an impressive 7-fight winning streak in which he has picked up 6 stoppages.
Rafael Estevam vs. Jesus Aguilar (125 lbs)
Unbeaten Brazilian Rafael Estevam (12-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) returns after a 455-day absence to take on Jesus Aguilar (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) who is riding high after winning his last 3 fights in the flyweight division.
Gabriel Bonfim vs. Khaos Williams (170 lbs)
Gabriel Bonfim (16-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), who's brother Ismael fights on the main card, will be looking for his third submission win inside the Octagon when he takes on knockout artist Khaos Williams (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC).
Williams has won 4 of his last 5 fights and has picked up 1st-round KO wins over the likes of Carlston Harris, Abdul Razak Alhassan and Alex Morono during his UFC tenure.
Vince Morales vs. Elijah Smith (135 lbs)
Vince Morales (16-8 MMA, 3-6 UFC) is in search of the 1st win of his 2nd stint in the UFC. The Syndicate MMA representative was released from the organization in 2022 but an impressive string of wins on the regional scene earned him a recall last year. After losing to Taylor Lapilus at UFC Paris in September, "Vandetta" will be feeling the pressure going into this weekend.
UFC debutant Elijah Smith (7-1) punched his ticket into the big leagues when he beat Aaron Tau on Dana White's Contender Series in September. The 22-year-old is the son of Gilbert Smith, who competed on seasons 17 & 25 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Valter Walker vs. Don'Tale Mayes (265 lbs)
Valter Walker (12-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), who picked up a heelhook finish over Junior Tafa at UFC 305 last summer, takes on Don'Tale Mayes (11-7 MMA, 4-5 UFC) who recently broke into the heavyweight top 15 following the release of Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Julia Avila vs. Jacqueline Calacanti (135 lbs)
Julia Avila (9-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) hasn't competed since being submitted by Miesha Tate in December of 2023. She takes on former LFA champion Jacqueline Cavalcanti (8-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) who has picked up 3 decision victories since signing with the UFC 18 months ago.
