Following one of the most challenging build ups to a UFC event which saw SEVEN of it's originally-scheduled bouts fall by the wayside, UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Song is finally set to take place this weekend at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.

There were no issues for any of the fighters on the scale and all 11 fights will go ahead as scheduled.

The fight card contains a substantial amount of short-notice replacements and even entirely new fights, following a difficult few weeks as injuries decimated the original line up.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz had originally been scheduled to face fellow veteran Rob Font in what was to be his retirement fight but a dislocated shoulder not only forced that contest to be scrapped but also drove the future Hall-of-Famer to call time on his career entirely.

Other noteable names forced to pull out of their fights include Edson Barboza and Curtis Blaydes, but there are still plenty of interesting bouts for the fans in Seattle to enjoy this Saturday.

Former 2-weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo goes in search of his first victory since he came out of retirement last year when he faces no. 8-ranked contender Song Yadong in a 5-round main event.

Middleweights Brendan Allen and Anthony "Fluffy" Hernandez square off in a rematch of their LFA title fight back in 2018, which Hernandez won by unanimous decision.
