No sooner have the lights been switched off and the doors closed at the UFC Apex after UFC Vegas 103 on Saturday, than all eyes turn toward the week ahead, which is packed with exciting fight cards for MMA fans to look forward to.

Let’s take a look at the major events happening in the world of MMA this week

LFA 203 (Thursday 6th March)

Fight week in Las Vegas gets under way early this week as the Palms casino Resort plays host to LFA 203 on Thursday. Uran Satybaldaev (7-1) will attempt to make the first defense of the light heavyweight title that he collected in his last outing when he knocked out Bruno Assis at LFA 178 a year ago.

Satybaldaev will take on promotional newcomer Leon Soares (9-2). The Brazilian has finished 7 of his 9 professional wins by way of KO/TKO and has the type of power that can finish any fight in the blink of an eye.

ONE Fight Night 29 (Friday 7th March)

Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand plays host to a ONE Championship card on Friday which is packed with Muay Thai action, but also features a healthy dose of mixed martial arts for fans to get their teeth into.

Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu (12-3) will take on Jeremy Pacatiw (13-5) at 145 pounds, while at 135 pounds Joshua Perreira (5-0) will put his unbeaten record on the line against Banma Duoji (13-5).

Cage Warriors 183 (Saturday 8th March)

Cage Warriors returns to it's second home as the Eternal City of Rome gets treated to two world title fights on Saturday evening.

Bantamweight champion Liam Gittins (13-4) faces one of the toughest tests in his career to date as he faces Alessandro Giordano (9-3) who won all 3 of his fights in the famous yellow gloves in 2024.

In the co-main event, Dario 'Neanderthal' Bellandi (8-1) aims to defend his middleweight title for the second time in an exciting clash against Lithuania's Naglis Kanišauskas (8-3).


Oktagon 68 (Saturday 8th March)

Fans in Stuttgart, Germany have the opportunity to witness history on Saturday, as Oktagon 205 pound champion Will Fleury (14-3) makes the move up to challenge Lazar Todev (11-6) for the organization's heavyweight title. Fleury previously won a middleweight belt in UAE Warriors, so will be aiming to become Ireland's first 3-weight world champion this weekend.

KSW 104 (Saturday March 8th)

After a detour into Czech territory, KSW returns to it's home country as Gorzow in Poland hosts a massive card this Saturday. The interim middleweight title is up for grabs in the main event where Piotr Kuberski (15-1) looks to continue his impressive form since linking up with the organization in 2023.

'QBear' has won all 3 of his fights under the KSW banner and will take on the experienced Tomasz Romanowski (18-10) who makes his first appearance in over two years.

UFC 313 (Saturday 8th March)

The biggest star in the UFC today, Alex Periera (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) enters the Octagon for his fifth world title fight in less than 18 months when he faces the light heavyweight division's consensus no. 1 contender Magomed Ankalaev in the main event at T-Mobile Arena this weekend.

The short-notice rematch between Justin Gaethje (25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) and Rafael Fiziev (12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) serves as the co-main, while the rest of the card carries a heavy Samba flavor as Mauricio Ruffy, Ignacio Bahamondes and Iasmin Lucindo will all be in action.
