It was a clean sweep at weigh-ins today for all of the fighters competing at UFC 313 this weekend.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex, ahead of the ceremonial weigh-ins for fans, which happened in the evening at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay. Just a short distance away, the T-Mobile Arena will host Saturday’s event, available via pay-per-view, ESPNews, Disney+, and ESPN+.
Among the athletes stepping on the scales were light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and challenger Magomed Ankalaev (20-1-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC), who will face off in the main event. 'Poatan' will be competing in his fifth title bout in just 16 months.
Additionally, Rafael Fiziev (12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Justin Gaethje (25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) will clash in a highly anticipated rematch in the lightweight co-main event.
Elsewhere on the main card, the exciting lightweight match-up between Ignacio Bahamondes and Jalin Turner gets the go-ahead, as does the all-Brazilian strawweight contest between Iasmin Lucindo and former title challenger Amanda Lemos.
All 26 fighters made weight without any issues, with each athlete officially confirming their matchups in just under 55 minutes.
