The UFC welterweight title changed hands after a scintillating main event between Jack Della Maddalena and Belal Muhammad at Centre Bell in Montreal, QC on Saturday night.
Muhammad was usurped in his first outing since he dethroned Leon Edwards at UFC 304 last July by surging Austaralian Della Maddalena, who remains unbeaten inside the Octagon and may now potentially be in line to face current lightweight champion and pound-for-pound number one Islam Makhachev.
Valentina Shevchenko defended her women's flyweight title in the co-main event as she outpointed Manon Fiorot over five rounds.

- Performance of the Night: Marc-Andre Barriault (17-9 MMA, 6-8 UFC) made a serious statement during the prelims with a devastating elbow barrage that left Bruno Silva (23-13 MMA, 4-7 UFC) hospitalized and carried out on a stretcher. Performances like that are hard to ignore when it comes to post-fight bonuses. As an added bonus, Barriault also earned 20 percent of Silva’s purse after the Brazilian failed to make weight.
- Performance of the Night: Jasmine Jasudavicius (14-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) continued her impressive rise through the women’s flyweight ranks with a dominant first-round submission victory over former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade (26-14 MMA, 17-12 UFC). The Canadian standout delivered a performance that firmly places her in the conversation for a potential title shot.
- Fight of the Night: In the main event, the welterweight title saw a shake-up as Jack Della Maddalena (18-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) pulled off an upset against reigning champion Belal Muhammad (24-4 MMA, 15-4 UFC), who was making his first title defense. Della Maddalena remains undefeated in the UFC, cementing his status as a rising force in the division. Despite the setback, Muhammad walked away with just the third bonus of his UFC career—and his first Fight of the Night honor since his debut nearly nine years ago.
