The UFC Apex in Las Vegas will host UFC Vegas 106 this Saturday night, where a rising welterweight star aims to catapult himself into the top ten at 170 pounds.

Let’s take a look at the main card action scheduled for this weekend.

Michael Morales vs. Gilbert Burns

Ecuadorian prospect Michael Morales (17-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) faces the toughest challenge of his career in Saturday’s main event, as he squares off against former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns (22-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC).

Morales has been flawless since signing with the UFC in early 2022. If the 12th-ranked contender can defeat the No. 8–ranked “Durinho” this weekend, he’ll join the likes of Joaquin Buckley and Ian Machado Garry in the conversation as a potential future title challenger at 170 pounds.

Burns enters the bout on the worst skid of his career, having dropped three straight fights to Belal Muhammad, Jack Della Maddalena, and Sean Brady.

Paul Craig vs. Rodolfo Bellato

Paul Craig (17-9-1 MMA, 9-9-1 UFC) returns to the light heavyweight division in Saturday’s co-main event, following a challenging run at 185 pounds.

After debuting at middleweight with a win over Andre Muniz in 2023, "Bearjew" dropped his next three fights, prompting a move back to the division where he owns a notable victory over current champion Magomed Ankalaev.

The Scottish veteran will be aiming to tie Glover Teixeira for the most submission wins in UFC light heavyweight history (7) this weekend.

His opponent, Bellato (12-2-1 MMA, 1-0-1 UFC), has already seen action in the Octagon this year, fighting to a majority draw against Jimmy Crute at UFC 312 in February.

Sodiq Yusuff vs. Mairon Santos

Former featherweight contender Sodiq Yusuff (13-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) will make his lightweight debut this Saturday against The Ultimate Fighter Season 32 veteran Mairon Santos (15-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC).

Like Gilbert Burns and Paul Craig, Yusuff is looking to return to the win column after back-to-back losses to Edson Barboza and Diego Lopes.

Santos, representing Xtreme Couture, has had a strong start to his UFC career. The Brazilian earned a knockout victory over Kaan Ofli in his Octagon debut last August and followed it up with a decision win over Francis Marshall at UFC 313 in March.

Nursulton Ruziboev vs. Dustin Stoltzfus

The always-exciting Nursulton Ruziboev (35-9-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) returns to action this weekend as he faces Dustin Stoltzfus (16-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC).

Aside from a decision loss to Joaquin Buckley last May, the Uzbek standout has been impressive throughout his UFC run, earning stoppage victories over Brunno Ferreira, Sedriques Dumas, and Eric McConico.

Julian Erosa vs. Melquizael Costa

The busiest fighter on the UFC roster returns in Saturday’s main card opener, as Melquizael Costa (23-7 MMA, 4-2 UFC) makes his third appearance of 2025, taking on Julian Erosa (30-11 MMA, 9-7 UFC).

Costa has already secured victories over Andre Fili and Christian Rodriguez this year and will look to add Erosa to his growing list of wins.

Erosa also makes a quick turnaround after his dominant victory over Darren Elkins at UFC 314 last month. “Juicy J” has gone 8-3 since rejoining the UFC for his third stint in 2020.
