Ibragim Dauev will face undefeated Brazilian Pedro "Guerreiro" Dantas at ONE Fight Night 33 on Friday, July 11, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Russian replaces #4-ranked featherweight MMA contender Ilya Freymanov, who withdrew from the contest due to personal reasons.

Dauev (10-1 MMA, 2-0 ONE) enters the bout on a nine-fight winning streak and has earned two victories in ONE Championship since making his promotional debut. The 24-year-old has a 70 percent finishing rate in his professional career.

Most recently, Dauev defeated compatriot Magomed Akaev by split decision at ONE Fight Night 32 last month, handing his countryman the first loss of his career. Prior to that, he scored a victory over ONE Warrior Series contract winner Mark "Tyson" Abelardo.

Dauev trains under the guidance of three-division ONE Championship titleholder Anatoly Malykhin and will look to continue building momentum in the promotion's featherweight division.

Dantas (6-0 MMA, 0-0 ONE) will be making his ONE Championship debut against Dauev. The 22-year-old Brazilian has finished all six of his professional opponents within the first two rounds.

The son of MMA veteran Paulo "Guerreiro" Dantas, Pedro represents the second generation of fighters from his family. He has built his reputation as a finisher since beginning his professional career.

Both fighters are looking to establish themselves in ONE Championship's competitive featherweight division, with a victory potentially moving the winner closer to the top-five rankings.
