Undefeated Canadian heavyweight Ben Tynan (5-0) will look to make his strongest statement yet when he faces veteran Kirill Grishenko at ONE Fight Night 34: Eersel vs. Jarvis on Friday, August 1, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event streams live on Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime.

Tynan has finished all five of his professional opponents and believes his wrestling background gives him a significant advantage over the competition in ONE's heavyweight division.

"No matter what, my grappling is always going to be my bread and butter. There's no one who can hang with me," Tynan said. "I honestly think I'm the best in the world. If you add punches, I'm beating everyone."

The 31-year-old former Canadian Junior Freestyle Wrestling National Champion has transitioned seamlessly from amateur wrestling success to professional MMA. He dominated the amateur ranks with eight consecutive finishes before turning professional.

Grishenko presents Tynan's toughest test to date. The Belarusian veteran has notable wins over current ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Oumar Kane and brings extensive experience to the matchup.

However, Tynan remains confident in his ability to extend his perfect record.

"I'm going to finish him, and I think he knows that threat is coming," Tynan said. "He is going to be very cautious of my weapons, and I'm going to land heavy shots."

The Canadian has been working to expand his striking game while maintaining his wrestling foundation as his primary weapon. He expects the combination to prove too much for Grishenko.

A convincing victory over Grishenko would position Tynan as a legitimate contender in ONE's heavyweight division. The undefeated prospect has his sights set on championship gold and views Friday's bout as another step toward that goal.

"He might have decent grappling," Tynan said, "but when you combine [it in a] sport like MMA, it’s like, ‘I’ve got so many weapons, he ain’t stopping ’em.'"
