The seventh episode of the latest season of Dana Whote’s Contender Series took place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, where ten up-and-coming prospects set foot in the Octagon in a bid to impress UFC CEO Dana White and earn a UFC contract.
The event was headlined by a feature bout between middleweights Dani Barbir and Mantas Kondratavicius.

The Big Winners From DWCS 83
For only the second time in the history of the show, six fighters received UFC contract offers from Dana White following their performances on this week’s episode.
Mantas Kondtratavicius signed on the dotted line after stopping Dani Barbir in just over a minute in the feature bout of the evening, while Murtazali Magomedov also earned a seat at the top table following his 1st-round stoppage win over Brahyan Zurcher.
Jeisla Chaves and Sofia Montenegro went to war, with Chaves scraping a split decision victory. Neither fighter goes home disappointed however, as both have now signed with the UFC.
Javier Torres was also given a UFC deal following his 1st-round TKO win over Justice Torres, as was Rafael Tobias, who submitted Jair de Oliveira.
