Enkh-Orgil “The Tormentor” Baatarkhuu shocked the MMA world at ONE Fight Night 38, submitting Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade in the fourth round to claim the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Title and become Mongolia’s second-ever MMA World Champion.

The 36-year-old veteran fulfilled a long-held dream shared with his mentor, former ONE Featherweight World Champion Narantungalag Jadambaa. Entering the Bangkok main event as the No. 4 contender, Baatarkhuu made his intentions clear from the opening bell.

After a competitive first round highlighted by a sharp spinning back kick, the Mongolian challenger seized momentum in round two with clean striking and multiple takedowns, nearly finishing Andrade with a late D’Arce choke. Though the champion rallied briefly in the third, Baatarkhuu’s pressure and ground-and-pound continued to wear him down.

In the fourth, Baatarkhuu closed the show. Driving Andrade to the canvas, he unleashed strikes until the Brazilian exposed his neck, allowing “The Tormentor” to sink in a fight-ending rear-naked choke at 1:33.

The win moved Baatarkhuu to 14-3, earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus, and delivered a landmark moment for Mongolian MMA.
