LFA made its return to F&M Bank Arena in downtown Clarksville on Friday night for LFA 226. The event was topped by a middleweight title bout featuring undefeated Ukrainian champion David Allakhverdiev, who put his belt on the line against California challenger Joe Kropschot. The co-main event showcased lightweight action, as Dedrek Sanders competed in his second LFA appearance against promotional newcomer Nikolai Kiosse.
Allakhverdiev entered the main event unbeaten and making the first defense of his championship, but his reign came to an end in the second round when Kropschot secured a rear-naked choke to force the tap. The victory crowned Kropschot as the new LFA Middleweight World Champion and improved his professional record to 8–3. In the co-main event, Sanders turned up the pressure in the third round, dropping Kiosse with a left hook before following up with repeated knees to the body, prompting the referee to step in and wave off the contest.
