Two unbeaten records collide at flyweight, and a strawweight contender looks to stay relevant as ONE Fight Night 45 just got significantly more interesting.

ONE Championship has confirmed two MMA matchups for the July 17 card, broadcasting live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on Amazon Prime Video.

The flyweight bout is the marquee addition. Sanzhar Zakirov, 23, carries a 16-0 record and seven ONE wins into a meeting with Ruslan Satiev, who arrives unbeaten at 6-0 with five finishes. Between them they have never lost a professional fight. One of those records ends on July 17.

Zakirov has been methodical in building his case at flyweight. After establishing himself at strawweight, he moved up a division and worked through a credible sequence of opponents — Tatsumitsu Wada, Eko Roni Saputra, Bokang Masunyane — before a unanimous decision over Hu Yong at ONE Fight Night 36 last December kept his momentum intact. His grappling is his foundation, but his striking has developed enough to make him genuinely dangerous in every phase.

Satiev is a less familiar name on the global stage but arrives with credentials that make him more than a stepping stone. The 27-year-old Russian, representing KHK Dagestan and Dobrynya, has finished opponents on the feet and on the mat across his promotional appearances and continued working outside ONE while waiting for his main roster opportunity. A win over Zakirov would immediately insert him into the flyweight title conversation and put him on course to face Zakirov's compatriot, reigning flyweight king Avazbek Kholmirzaev.

The strawweight bout pairs Masunyane against Lee Seung Cheol in a matchup that could reshape the bottom of the divisional top ten. Masunyane steadied himself earlier this year with a unanimous decision over Ryohei Kurosawa at ONE Fight Night 39 in January and arrives looking to build on it against the most dangerous opponent he has faced in some time.

Lee has been one of the division's most consistent finishers since his promotional debut in August 2024. The South Korean owns a 12-1 record with ten stoppages, most recently handling Fabio Henrique at ONE Fight Night 41 in March. His submission over Cueng Naibaho earned him a six-figure contract and a permanent main roster spot. Masunyane's wrestling will be tested thoroughly.
