‘The Neanderthal’ and ‘The Terminator’ will square off in a showdown of titans at Eintract football stadium.
In a huge collision that no one saw coming, viral sensation, Frederic Vosgröne (5-0), will clash with OKTAGON legend, Karlos Vémola (38-9), at a catchweight of 89kg/196lbs. The bout will take place as part of the OKTAGON Celebrity Series in front of 60,000 fans inside Deutsche Bank Park, Frankfurt, on Saturday, September 26. OKTAGON 94 marks the German leg of our ten-year anniversary celebrations and will be one of the biggest MMA events of all time.
Vosgröne became an overnight superstar following his promotional debut in April 2025 with fans everywhere comparing him to Paddy Pimblett for his looks and Brock Lesnar for his physicality. The undefeated fighter transitioned to the sport following a highly successful grappling career where he earned many IBJJF accolades which is the foundation for his suffocating style today. He also has a 100% finishing rate with no opponent having been able to survive until the end of the second round with him. However, his adversary in Frankfurt signifies a huge step up in competition.
Vémola is one of the biggest ever stars in European MMA and is a household name in the Czech Republic. ‘The Terminator’ is a former OKTAGON light heavyweight and middleweight champion and has made an enormous contribution to the organisation’s growth since its inception. He last competed in the trilogy bout with Attila Végh at OKTAGON 72, where he claimed the ‘Infinity’ belt, and has decided that now is the time to return to competition on the very biggest stage.
Elsewhere on the card, Frankfurt hero, Max Coga, takes on German star, Christian Jungwirth, at welterweight and rising prospect, Fedor Duric, meets UFC veteran, Marc Diakiese, who will be his toughest test yet, in a lightweight contest. ‘The King of Germany’, Christian Eckerlin, is also set to compete in his hometown.
