Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to Niagara Falls on Friday night for LFA 245 at the Seneca Niagara Event Center. The nine-bout card was headlined by a showdown for the vacant LFA Lightweight World Championship.

Ansar Khamzaev stayed unbeaten and captured the vacant LFA Lightweight World Championship with a first-round submission of Juliano Prescendo. Khamzaev locked in a D’Arce choke and forced the tap at 3:20 of the opening round. The title became available after interim champion Jefferson Nascimento and linear champion Richie Miranda both signed with the UFC. With the win, Khamzaev improves to 7-0 and adds LFA gold to his perfect record.

In the co-main event, Tom Picciano edged Santos Verdinez in a closely contested featherweight battle. Picciano took the unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the bout 29-28.

The main card delivered three more finishes. Alberth Bahamondes needed just one minute to knock out Joey Hart in their welterweight clash. In light heavyweight action, Wildemar Santos rallied late to submit veteran Sharaf Davlatmurodov with a rear-naked choke at 3:23 of the third round.
